AUTISM & ABA SERVICES
The PATHways Program
At Anchor Rehabilitation established our innovative PATHways Program in September of 2021. This unique initiative stands for Person Driven, Appropriate Services, Trauma Informed, and Holistic approach. The PATHways Program is designed to provide comprehensive support to youth, adults, and their caregivers, with the ultimate goal of fostering increased independence, optimal outcomes, and an enhanced quality of life.
At the heart of our program is the individual. We believe in the power of personal choice and autonomy. Our Board Certified Behaviour Analysts (BCBAs) work closely with each individual to understand their unique needs, aspirations, and challenges. This person-driven approach ensures that our behavior and skill acquisition support plans are tailored to each individual, promoting personal growth and self-determination.
We are committed to providing services that are appropriate and relevant to the needs of the individuals we serve. Our BCBAs utilize evidence-based practices to create effective behaviour and skill acquisition support plans. These plans are designed to address a wide range of behavioural challenges and to equip individuals with the skills necessary for increased independence and improved quality of life. Our BCBAs also provide case management/coordination for youth with complex special needs and have access to a wide network of multidisciplinary professionals such as but not limited to; psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, occupational therapists, speech and language pathologists, paediatricians and other special lists.
Recognizing the impact of trauma on behaviour and development, our PATHways Program is rooted in a trauma-informed approach. Our team is trained to understand, recognize, and respond to the effects of all types of trauma. We strive to create a safe and supportive environment that respects the individual's experiences and promotes healing and recovery.
We believe in the importance of a holistic approach that considers all aspects of an individual's life. Our program not only focuses on behaviour and skill acquisition but also addresses the physical, emotional, and social aspects of well-being. We work collaboratively with caregivers, other professionals, and community resources to ensure a coordinated and comprehensive approach to care.
The PATHways Program serves individuals in the child welfare sector and Veteran's Affairs in Ontario. We are dedicated to supporting these vulnerable populations, recognizing the unique challenges they face, and providing the specialized care they require.
At Anchor Rehabilitation, we are not just service providers; we are partners in your journey towards a better future. Join us on this PATH to independence, growth, and an improved quality of life. Together, we can make a difference.
