Join us at the 12th Annual Fundraising Dinner for the Hamilton Brain Injury Association

On November 22nd, HBIA will be hosting their Annual Fundraising Dinner at Liuna Station. Cocktail hour begins at 6:00 PM, dinner to follow at 7:00 PM. Evening entails live music performance, special presentation of HBIA's Unmasking Brain Injury Exhibit, 50/50 draw, raffle and silent auction. We hope that you will consider attending and/or supporting our event by providing sponsorship, a cash donation, or silent auction item.

The Hamilton Brain Injury Association (HBIA) exists with the mission to ensure the quality of life for survivors of brain injury, and their families through education, support and advocacy. In addition to running our support groups, HBIA runs a volunteer-based injury prevention program that is offered to students within grades 1-3. The Bikes, Blades and Boards Program provides education surrounding the importance of proper helmet use and injury prevention.  With your support, we have been able to increase membership within our support groups, offer additional clubs, hire a new facilitator for our Family/Caregiver and Spousal Support Groups as well as a part-time Survivor Support Group Facilitator to ensure that the doors of the Clubhouse always remain open. We have also been able to grow our Bikes, Blades & Boards program, making it available to schools within Hamilton, Haldimand-Norfolk and Niagara throughout the entire academic year. In addition to growing our HBIA programs and supports, we have recently partnered with the Ontario Brain Injury Association to bring the Peer Support Program to Hamilton.
